This bag is great! We got it for our camping trip and slowing introduced it to our golden/lab mix. He didn't mind it at all and he normally hates anything put on him. If you put a sweater or a dog cone on him, he just lies down and looks sad. we were afraid he might do the same here. at first he walked slowly but soon he was running around like nothing. When we took him camping for 4 days and 3 nights, he wore it all day with no chaffing and full freedom to move (including chasing deer). It holds whatever we need him to care (water, dog food, leashes, treats) He doesn't seem to mind the weight but does sleep longer from the days it is heavier.
And he looks super cute with it on.
No when we go for long walks we use and he gets so happy when he sees us getting it from the closet because he associates it with fun outdoor hikes.
