Not easily recharged

Fun and Fast car but you can't simply plug it in to charge it. You have to take the battery out of the car to recharge it, which requires a screwdriver...this happens each time we want to use it, which means we have to wait, which means we move on to something else, which means we haven't really touched this since Christmas time.

I thought this was going to be a small RC car. When I got the box and it was huge I didn't think I was going to like it. But it is fast and alot of fun to play with. I recommend outdoor play with it because it does go so fast.

This is a great car for pre-teen kids. If your child has no experience with RC car club racing, this would be a great, fun step up from your basic RC car. Our son has extensive experience with higher-end RC cars and races them in a club. For him, this was a step down as far as control of the car and speed. He was intrigued by the Wi-Fi capabilities, but ultimately we returned it for something else.

We initially had a difficult time syncing the car with my son's iPod. After thinking that something was wrong with car we took it to the nearest Brookstone store (eventhough we ordered it online.) The sales person showed us what we were doing wrong and we haven't had any product since. He was wonderful to reassure my son that even though Santa brought him this car, he would still be able to help him out!
