I use this mat in my kitchen in front of the sink. It feels very springy underfoot. Almost a little too cushiony, so it takes some getting used to. But I enjoy it much more than just standing on bare tile. I wish the mat came in more colors. It makes a sizeable presence in the room, but doesn't really go with the decor of the rest of the room. I normally seek out items on sale to buy. This mat was not on sale, but I feel like the quality and frequency of usage justifies the high price tag.
