I work out often so I generally need some quality time with a massager in order to be functional the next day. The attachments were actually quite useful at helping target different areas and overall I was quite content with it.... until it broke a few months in. If you are the type of person that digs in when massaging, the design of this massager probably isn't for you. The stem that you attach the various attachments to is rather long and it doesn't seem to be firmly secured. When you apply pressure while moving it along a muscle group it will eventually pop out of the driver and become functionally useless. I tried opening it up to pop the stem back in, but it is sealed tight, leaving me no option but to trash it. If it had lasted a bit longer I probably would have been ok with it if it was the moter that had given out, but since it's the design that seems to be a problem, my next massager will have to be a one-piece design.

My husband & I both love this massager. We both have a lot of aches and pains in our backs and legs. He is also using it to help regrow his hair!! He can sit and watch TV and use the massager on himself to relieve pain. I can do the same. This is a heavy duty massager. It is not a toy. This is really a tool to help relieve pain and tense muscles. I plan to buy one for a friend who has a lot of back pain because I think it will help her.

Coming from someone who's a novice, I found this particular massage wand pretty intuitive and easy to use. There two biggest drawbacks would be:
(1) Weight of the unit.....you tend to get tired out holding it after 15 minutes or so, better if you can have someone else use it on you
(2) Since it's not cordless, the cord sometimes gets in the way

i currently suffer from 3 lumbar back injuries, this massager is "Ok" i use it a few times a week and it does an "Ok" job. I would have rather purchased the deep tissue massager (which i have used in the past with great success) but it was simply way to expensive.
