We bought this piece for toy storage in our son's room. He can be rather tough on furniture, so we needed something that could withstand a little wear and tear. We are very pleased with the construction and the ease of putting it together. The instructions were missing a couple of steps, but it was easy to figure out by the predrilled holes and hardware. We looked at other similar pieces, but chose this one since it was made of real wood and not pressed wood. It was about twice as much as a unit offered by other large retail stores, but it is a much more expensive looking piece in person. The color is a nice dark espresso. The only real issue,thus far, is that it took longer to ship the "in stock" item than the site first indicated. Just over 2 weeks.
