This is a great, soft rug that does absorb quite a bit of water, considering there are 5 of us in the house and my 7 year old tends to drip a lot of water during and after his shower. I wouldn't say it dries faster than any other rug though but it doesn't smell like mold or mildew like I have found with other rugs. When I washed it, it left A LOT of lint in the washer. I recovered about a tennis ball size amount of lint after washing and drying it so I am worried about the next time I wash it. However all in all it is a good bath rug.

We ordered two and washed them before use and both shed a handful of material in the dryer and there were half a dozen to dozen loops coming apart or coming off on each one. We followed the washing instructions. Very poor workmanship/assembly. Wanted to like these as we have the matching bamboo towels which are still holding together after several washes. We will return these. We cannot recommend this bath mat.

The rug is large. Since it's made from bamboo, you have to dry it on a low setting. It takes forever to dry since it's so thick. It's not very pretty either.

Even though it doesn't have that nasty non-slip stuff onn the back, it lays down nicely and doesn't slip. I haven't washed it yet, but it looks easily washable. What I really like is how nice it feels. I'd like a BIG one for my bedroom.

This is a scrumptuous bathmat! Just luscious to step onto fresh out of the bath! My old one looked like it had been mugged, was over 20 yrs old, frayed, holes, alwas looked like it had been flattened by a steamroller except when right out of the laundry. This bamboo bathmat keeps its "spring" even between launderings, so it's always very cushy feeling. My only objection was the limited choice of colors - I would have preferred cream or rose (the colors of my bathroom), but had to make do with a sort of sandstone color.

Very nice rug but not good as a bath rug unless there is another rug or carpet underneath it, as it will not stay put and user risks danger of injury by falling if it should slip.

My shower would splash water from the bottom of the glass door, now with this down, it soaks up all that water and is a nice rug to dry my feet off as well. Good product!
