The lamp arrived and was not an attractive color - brown and brick red, and not the color it appeared online. It was fairly easy to assemble. It does give ample warmth, but the element is very bright and is annoying if it is in your line of vision. Sitting on an end table on our porch, the element is visible if you are sitting on a sofa or chair. Perhaps on a lower table where your eyes would be shielded from the heating element this lamp would work. It did not work for us and we are in the return process.

With a 6' cord, the heater must be used next to the house. If it had a 15' or 20' cord, it could be used at the table.
