Although the bracket supplied will not fit most windows, it does secure under the screen. What I did to install it was placed the bracket under my screen. Then I took twine and wrapped it around the bracket and then closed my window on it just to add more security. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to make this work for your window sill. It looks absolutely stunning on my windows and can't wait to light it up after Thanksgiving. Well worth the money to me.

While this is a lovely decoration - and was beautiful during the day, the bulb is not a warm glow - but, rather a bright blue bulb. The idea is perfect - a bulb that comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn - but, half the time they didn't work and I had to manually turn them off/on anyways. I'd rather have the pain of turning the bulbs off/on and have a warm glow. Still - it was durable, pretty and easy to install.

I love the decoration but have a bulb that is not working and have had a hard time finding one. Have requested an answer from company. Will see what happens.

We have contemporary windows and ended up buying support blocks and foam insulating tape and tension rods to ensure the swag would mount properly and the windows would stay closed. We felt they were worth the effort because they are beautiful, but once we saw them lit in the evening light, the bulbs emitted a very low lighted blue hue - Not the usual warm white. No candle burns blue and it ruined the effect. What were they thinking when they placed a blue light in what should be a warm, yellow candle light?

While these swags look great - they do not secure under the windows if you have replacement windows. You cannot close the window - so that basically makes them useless unless you figure out some other way to gerry-rig them.

The product works as described and is attractive, except ....when lit, the bulbs appear almost blue. Can one get replacement bulbs? Where do you find them? They don't match the other white/yellow lights we use in our decorations.

I love the look of this swag and like that it has an LED candle with it, but this does not fit all windows, as the instructions state. I have newer, standard windows and when the window bracket is in place, my window will not close and lock. When closed, my window fits between two raised pieces of metal, as I think most windows do. It's difficult to explain, but that setup won't work with the window bracket provided. Bottom line -- get this swag if you have another way of securing it to your window sill, but don't bank on the "open window, place swag outside, close window" plan that Brookstone provides. Also, I don't see the bow lasting longer than one or two wet winters. It will probably have to be replaced on an annual basis. Not that it would be difficult to find or expensive, but just something to consider.
