I recently had a radical hysterectomy and had to come home with a temporary catheter. This pillow has been a Godsend!!! I use it in every chair I have to sit in, I carry it with me to appointments and for when I ride in the car. My belly is swollen and I have incisions, this takes the weight off my belly and pelvic area, and what a relief that is! It conforms to me very well, it's always comfortable for me to sit on. Quite frankly, I can't imagine not having it and how painful and uncomfortable sitting would be for me. I highly recommend this to other hysterectomy patients, whether or not you come home catherized, it's a bonus for being catherized and taking weight off my lower region too. If you're having abdominal surgery I would recommend this. I wish I'd had it when I had my c-section years ago! This is one purchase I would gladly have paid a couple of times over the asking price for!

I purchased this product for my mother who sits in her computer chair for longs periods of time. She did not like the product because she said that it was uncomfortable and didn't support her tail bone. I tried it out myself and found that it was probably due to the fact that the back of her chair was so low and the cushion is so thick. Therefore, it lifts you up too high in the chair with no back support. Therefore, this pillow would probably work great with high back chairs OR for floor seating.

I have lower back problems, and decided to try this less expensive alternative to some of the other seat cushions available at Brookstone. I would have been better off spending more! Now I cannot find the cushion that a friend has that was purchased from Brookstone. Sigh. I'm not sure what I'll do, but I am not using this cushion, not even in the car. It flattens very quickly, which defeats the purpose. Keep your money, skip this product.

The cushion is very soft and very comfortable, and well made. However, It is too soft; after a short period of time, it compresses and does not give enough support to the tailbone area. I purchased a Brookstone memory foam cushion several years ago which was much more firm and an excellent product, useful for long car or plane trips. This one is not as good. I'm keeping it because it is so comfortable, even if for short periods of use.

This cushion works adequately on a soft surface such as an upholstered chair or a carseat. The U-shape cutout at the rear of the cushion decreases the pressure on the spine and lower back. This cushion does not work at all on a wooden chair, as the cushion totally flatten -- and I am average weight. I have an older version of this cushion from Brookstone and it still performs better on wood than this new one does. I like the design (cutout), but the cushion is not dense enough to justify the purchase.

This stays on my work chair and is fantastic. Super comfortable. I have had back problems for the last 17 years, and finally had a spinal fusion and a discectomy. This pillow has been with me through all of that. It's perfect, and aesthetically pleasing. If a coworker teases me about it, the second they sit down, they take it all back and want one for themselves! :)

I am a small woman, 5 . 5 feet and 134 lbs. This custom barely cover my bottom. it really is just a form cushion with a black cover. It does raise you in height but, it does nothing for your spine as the custom must be placed and replaced in a hours time. For the price, I would pass if I could do over
