I bought this clock for my mother who has low vision issues. It, I thought was the answer to her needs. The first problem was that the instructions indicate that with voice activation one can shut off the alarm. Not true! When the alarm sounds you can not shut it off via voice activation. It must be disengaged manually. If you have a dog that barks it bark activates the clock. The time may change, the alarm may be set and the like. In addition it does not always respond the exact way that you want it to. I would succinctly tell it the time but it would occasionally not list the time that I spoke. It goes back tomorrow.

It's so easy to set by telling Moshi the time. We love it for the nightly use of the night light - just enough light in the bedroom. This unit replaced another one that started having a mind of her own - she would give you the weather if you asked for the time. Now that first unit is working again so we put it in the guest room.

It wakes me in the middle of the night with, "Command please!" It gives an incorrect response to commands sometimes, it doesn't always understands numbers you say, no matter how clearly you say them, it responds better to deep voices. In spite of all its flaw, it's kind of fun and funny! Hope they improve it, as I would love one that really worked correctly.

Got this for my son(9)so he has his own alarm to wake him for school. He uses the nightlight feature every night and because it is voice activated I can turn it off from the doorway without disturbing him or fumbling for a switch and walking out of the room in the dark. The sleep sounds are just OK. Setting the time and date is super easy. My nieces love it when they come to visit so I will be purchasing one for them for Christmas.

I love the Moshi alarm clock! Its fun and looks great in our modern loft townhouse. Its nice to lay in bed and not have to mess with the alarm clock before bed... You simply talk to it! My only complaints are the volume - b/c I am SUCH a heavy sleeper! Fortunately it wakes my boyfriend up no problem. The other complaint is that sometimes it doesn't quiet understand what you are saying - and occasionally it just talks for no reason. This however is extremely amusing to me - especially when we have guests and all of a sudden "Welcome! Command Please!" comes from seemingly nowhere! Haha! My favorite alarm clock ever!

This is a great product. Though it often does not understand well when you are setting the time or date but does understand when you say the simple commands such as time, todays date, etc. I would recommend this, it is fun-looking, fun to talk to, and has good features! GET IT, but be ready for a few cons and be ready for lots of fun!
