I use the jambox with my iPad and laptop for listening to music, TV, books....it sounds great and is so convenient! I can leave my iPad in the house and bring the jambox outside while I garden or dine. I love mine so much I have also given it as gifts!

I placed it near the edge of a table. The vibration of the speaker caused it to drop to the floor. It stopped working, and I though it was game over. Fortunately, I was able to power it back on with no issue.
No sure about why the previous reviewer gave it a flimsy rating.
It is on the pricey side, but it is very worth it.
