This was easy and fast to use to scan all those tax receipts! The images are great! It was not difficult to transfer them to the files I wanted them in on my pc.
The color and image on photos is great! The problem is: If you start at the top of the snap shot picture, the roller catches the edge of the photo and shows on the scanned image like a jump mark. If you start the scanner below the edge of the photo, it cuts off part of the picture - Off with their heads!

I tried for hours to get this wand to work for me. I was very frustrated and disappointed with the poor quality of the scans and the amount of time I had to attempt to edit every single photo. Every photo I scanned was crooked because the wand is so light and the rollers awkward. Then I had to scan on a piece of paper and then go in a edit the excess because it scans everything around the photo as well. This is not the best option to use for scanning 3x5 or 4x7 photos. I was very disappointed.

Once I added my micro SD chip I was able to start using the scanner and scan pictures in color. The speed at which you scan is not critical but the scanner tells you if you go too fast.
