Bought for a gift to the in-laws and they love it. They travel 6 months out of the year (cruises, Europe and visiting family). This have been proven accurate via the weight scale at the airport.

My wife got this for me during the Holidays. I'm the one who always overpacks, coming home with at least as much worn clothing as unworn clothing. This really helped on our most recent trip, as it made me take less than I had planned because I knew how heavy/light my luggage was BEFORE we got to the airport. (The limit on Spirit Airlines for checked baggage is 40 -- not 50 -- pounds.) It allows to check the weight of our luggage before we leave the house and then on the trip home (with all the purchased chotchkas). That is, if my luggage weighs 41 pounds and hers weighs 38, we just transfer over a pound or two. You'll be the envy of your fellow travelers.
It's small, battery-powered, and if you're taking 75 pounds of luggaged "stuff" you're taking more than even I've ever taken!
The downside of this item is that handle is quite small, especially for those who have rather large fingers. Also, the LED wavers if your arm(s) starts to waver while you're holding a piece of luggage by way of this item.

The grip isnt big enough, it feels cheap, i feel like i would break my fingers if i tried to lift 75lb with three fingers like the design allows. I got this as a gift and ill be returning it and buying another brand's scale that has a full hand handle.
