[...] it seems to work well. [...] it's very nice. LP sound isn't great --but hey they are LPs. When we connected an iPOD the sounds was great, so I assume the decreased sound quality comes from what you are playing back. We added our Brookstone wireless speakers which makes the sound great with the iPod and very good even with LP's and cassettes. So far we haven't tried recording, but we've used all the playback mechanisms.It would be great to be able to convert direct from LP to iPOD, but I think we will have to convert LP to CD and then to the player. Still we're getting to play music that has been silent all these years.

The look is awesome and the sound coming from the speakers is also very nice. Thats about it.. After a few seconds playing either CD or record player the system freezes... CD-player stops working, the buttons dosen't react (neither on remote)when pressed. I haven't tested the cassette player yet, cause frankly.. I dont have any cassettes anymore.. like 8-track it's history. But nothing works except the record player and thats stuck on the same volume as when the system freezes, but as I wrote earlier it looks great and the sound (from the record-player) emerging from the speakers is very nice.
