I'm normally a bargain hunter so have gone through a lot of wine openers with little success. Bought this one as a gift and with the buy one, get one at half price promo going at the time, the bargain hunter in me had to get one for myself. I couldn't be happier with it. Far and away the easiest and most durable looking wine opener I've seen among my own cheap ones and more expensive models at others' homes. Is much smaller than the big clunky wine openers as well which takes up far less drawer space. Of course it even looks good enough that you don't need to hide it away in a drawer if you don't want to.

Loved the features demonstrated in the store. However after having the opener for a few months it became difficult to use and finally after a small metal piece fell out (looked like the tooth of a gear), the handle froze. What a disappointment....after paying [$] I didn't expect it to be worse than a dime store wine opener!

My brother suggested this to me (he works for a wine distribution company) and said it was the best one to get. It works great!
I bought it for my aunt and uncle and they like it.
The only down fall is that the label cutter included is a little awkward to handle/use.
But overall it is easy to use and works really well!

I love this wine opener - works easily and smoothly. I've given it as gifts as well, my parents (with arthritis) find it very useful. However, it is not durable. I've had two already, and each lasts a year or so. But I can't find another opener that works as well, so I'm buying another - this time with the 2-year warranty!

I only wish we drank more wine so I could open more bottles. I LOVE using this! It's SO simple and elegant. Put it on top of your bottle, hold firmly, push down on the lever and pull back up on the lever. Done. Simple. Works great!
The only negative is the foil cutter provided in the box. It's not so great.

I received this product over 2 years ago as a gift. I love it more everytime I use it, which is quite a lot. Even after much use, it still looks and performs like new. Even my intoxicated friends have no trouble figuring out how to open more bottles of wine with it! Not sure if that's always a good thing! Haha, kidding! Anyway, it makes a great gift and is definitely a conversation starter when people see me use it for the first time.
