I don't understand why the sides are designed the way they are. Very fragile plastic! Watch out because if you step on an edge it'll crack. When the weather is cold and ice forms the mat has a tendency to slide, if this happens the plastic edges will most likely crack. I'd purchase new plastic edges to see if I can get more than 3 months of winter out of these mats however I don't see replacement parts for them either.

We found this mat difficult to set up. The instructions were poorly written and it took us an hour to put everything together. Even then, it didn't fit well. We've had other mats that came with a sealed rope edge that simply rolled out. We don't plan to buy the Clean Park again.

Very flimsy,not impressed with the quality. when we pull in garage, one end of the mat jacks up in the air. the pieces that hold it together break very easily even if you step on it the wrong way
