Great rear support but front too thick

Bought this for my car as I am having issues with my tail bone (aging and losing padding) and right thigh hurting when driving, even short trips but especially problematic driving long distances. It is VERY thick and I first had to lower my seat. It was still cutting off circulation to my back right thigh, so I then adjusted the tilt to all the way flat. Still little relief. When I tilted the seat back a bit it started relieving the pressure, but this likely would have worked without the pad. So ... it is helping with my tail bone issues but I dislike having to tilt the seat rearward to avoid the thigh muscle issues.

Got the cushion to have portable lightweight cushion for office. I teach and not only use it for my office desk chair but teh classroom and for all those meetings we attend. It makes the cheap plastic stackable chairs friendlier to my older sciatic nerve. It almost makes those "faculty meetings" less dreaded due to the spasms I would suffer afterward. Helps cut down on those appreciably.

Used to add cushioning to my 2013 Subaru Impreza front seats. Makes very hard seats quite comfortable. The black fabric is similar to my upholstery and therefore the cushions blend right in. Unfortunately the cushion prevents the passenger air bag system from turning on when a passenger sits in the seat. It also blocks the warmth of the seat heaters.

I have an old car and the seats are no longer comfortable. I bought the cushion to change that. It changed the way I sit in the car(higher) so I had to lower my seat otherwise I couldn't see out my rearview mirror and my visor didn't work right. It isn't quite wide enough so I have to be careful how I sit or I hang off one side. But the cushion does not slide and it is very comfortable to sit on. You can easily remove it and use it at the ball park, or a bench for comfort. It would be perfect for a kitchen chair.
