This is by far one of the best sounding Bluetooth's I have used!! Not once has anyone said "Are you on a Bluetooth?" or "Are you talking on one of those stupid headsets?" or "You sound like you're in a tunnel" which is what they usually say to me when I'm using one of my MANY Bluetooth devices!!! I have two complaints... The biggest one is that the handset is curved and not flat so it is VERY DIFFICULT to hold it against your shoulder to talk!! The other complaint is that the power button is on the bottom of the mouthpiece (where I hold the phone) so I have disconnected my calls a few times. The sound quality is great so I'll tolerate the two complaints!

I love this item. With a couple tweaks it would be perfect.
1). The led is extremely bright at night and it flashes quite often
2). A volume slider (though it might shabbify the phone) would be great. You can adjust the volume from the phone, but it's extremely tedious. Volume in my ear seems to be hit or miss wit it mostly being perfect. Some calls come in too loud even after ajusting the volume, butit could be reversed which would suck.

Based on my experience with another brand of retro phone, which I returned, this one from Brookstone turns out to be beyond my expectations. Reception and transmission are perfect in my view and to other family members. Note: volume in the earpiece can be controlled by the cellphone volume control...neat. I will be buying one for my daughter. My son-in-law
can buy his own.

You should see the looks I get when my cell phone rings and I answer it using this classic-style handset! It works great with my cell phone, is a LOT of fun to use (my kids think it's hilarious), and has everything that made the old handsets great… except that annoying cord!
