I have owned a set of 6 bamboo bath towels (not the bath sheet size) for almost three years now and I can't say enough good things about them. I force myself to wash my towels regularly because if I get stuck using another towel instead of one of my bamboo towels, I become mildly agitated.
This towel has so many great qualities. One of the main things I love about it is that after I dry myself off I then wrap my hair in it and it still absorbs so much water off my hair in one wrap that when I remove the towel a few minutes later, my hair is NOT sopping wet as it usually is from a different towel.
Also, after almost three years, the towels are still the softest/fluffiest ones to come out of my dryer. I use dryer sheets regularly and it hasn't negatively impacted the towels' texture.
What's striking to me is that I received a set of regular Egyptian cotton towels from a department store as a gift, around the same time I bought these bamboo towels from Brookstone. When I compare the two sets now, the 100% Egyptian cotton set has frayed ends, they're scratchy to the touch and there are hanging threads in many spots. My Brookstone bamboo towels don't look any different from when I bought them except for the fact that they seem to be color-sensitive to bleach products and show a few spots of discoloration, which was complete my mistake.
I initially balked at the price when I first bought these towels because, I'll admit, I'm a very fussy and frugal shopper. However, I believe the price is still the same today as they were back then. Considering how well they have held up over the past few years, I consider it money well spent since they show absolutely no signs of needing replacement while my gifted Egyptian towels show obvious wear and tear.

These towels are soft - softer than any other towels I've used. They are absorbent, but they don't dry as well as 100% cotton towels. Instead of the towel rubbing against the surface of your skin, picking up water, these towels have a tendency to slide over your skin - so they miss much of the water. Its hard to describe the feeling. Unfortunately, even though these towels are soft as silk, I've reverted back to 100% cotton.

Comments about Ultra-Soft Cotton/Bamboo Towels and Washcloths:
i really like these towels. they are organic which is what i was looking for, however, they are only good for a one time use. so using them as hand towels is out. i do really like them though and will continue to use them. they are soft, absorbent, flexible, attractive and very lightweight. they also come in many colors.

Can buy larger 100% Bamboo towels for $15.00 that are bigger. Your towel is much smaller and only 65% bamboo so it is not as soft.

Comments about Ultra-Soft Cotton/Bamboo Towels and Washcloths:
We live in Florida where it is dificult to get towels to dry, even with air conditioning. Our old towels were smelling musty and were thrown out. These bamboo towels dry quickly and they always smell fresh. They are soft, big, and luxurious. We love them!I told a coworker about them and she bought them. She also loves them.

Comments about Ultra-Soft Cotton/Bamboo Towels and Washcloths:
These are far superior to the 30% Bamboo towels you find in high-end stores. These towels are much softer and absorbant than the lesser ones. Not only do I use them, but gave them as a gift to a friend that doesn't like "fluffy" towels - she was skeptical, but now wants another set!
