Use it for anything that you don't want to save for more time than your next usage. If you want to save the info then resort to copying the info to other medium.
Doesn't need any more bells and whistles to keep it simple. Simple is the beauty of this device.
Screen could be better (more Contrast) and the biggie is No replaceable battery. What's this throw away when internal battery quits? Come on Brookstone!

I bought two of these for my two kids ages 7 and 10. They did not even last a year even though the salesperson said it "would last until they entered college." Even though I did not expect that to happen, I did expect it to last longer. It sat in their rooms unused for months, so it was not like it even came close to the 50,000 erases. Very disappointed in this product. Do NOT waste your money!

When my father damaged the internals of his cochlear ear implant rendering him completely deaf, we resorted to the Boogie Board. It is used extensively at home and gained attention from medical professionals. It is lightweight (can be stuffed in a pocketbook or pouch) and simple to use. The cochlear implant specialist mentioned she may advertise its usefulness in this field to other patients. It's "cool" to have new technology and the Boogie Board is Eco friendly, not having to resort to pen and paper.

My husband and I got tired of leaving sticky notes on the back of the door to remind us of things we needed to take with us in the morning. This board is perfect for us. Instead of worrying about notes falling off the door overnight, or getting left on the door for days at a time, the reminders we put on the Boogie Board are right where we need them and are gone with the push of a button. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I wish it was bigger.

I actually bought this as a gift for someone but ended up keeping it for myself. I keep it on my nightstand and use it for my "To Do List" for the next day. My kids love it too. Now they both want one as well. It's a cool gadget with lots of uses. Looks neater than a paper notebook. I wish it would have gotten the one that saves my notes too. Maybe next time.
