I use this product mainly for sleeping at night. Previously, I used to get migraines almost every day (brutal I know). Since seeing a deep tissue release massage therapist, it was recommended that I change from sleeping on my stomach to sleeping on my side. It was also recommended that I position a pillow in between my arms (and one in between my legs) to prevent my shoulders from collapsing inwards and hips rotating at night time. This pillow is the perfect sized pillow to place in between my arms. I'm a 5"4 female, and most pillows seem enormous to me for this purpose. This pillow has enough structure in the middle, that it itself doesn't collapse, or shift around during the night. I will also be purchasing a second one to keep in my office at work (in case of emergencies when my migraines hit). I love LOVE how this pillow contains enough firmness in the middle, yet surrounded by a cloud like softness. The fabric is also luxuriously soft. My only recommendation would be that Brookstone make a travel sized antimicrobial pillowcase, like their standard sized model. Another thing noteworthy for all those migraine sufferers out there: since sleeping on my side, using this pillow as my "hugging" pillow, and the biosense sidesleeper pillow, I have been waking up without headaches, and thus not getting migraines by the middle of the day. A lot of my pain was probably attributed to muscle knots/incorrect positioning at night. These two pillows really helped me out. I have yet to use it for traveling, however, I don't think I will be traveling anywhere without this pillow. My only con would be that pillowcases are hard to find for this sized pillow, however the pillow fabric itself is amazing and claims to be easy to wash.

Only the core is made of temporpedic material; it is surrounded by non-compressible material. Much preferred the older style of travel pillow that was of the same design as the original sleep pillow, only smaller.

I love the compact size and weight of this pillow. Maybe it will get more comfortable in time, but in its first few uses my wife nd I have found it too hard to be comfortable. If it had more memory foam, it would be my fave pillow.

I am looking all over southern California for a replacement pillow. The ones available in stores include a white cover instead of the Blue one pictured. White is not acceptable for aircraft travel. Planes are nasty and white would be very dirty in a short time. Still looking for a replacement. :(
