I lay on my bed (better on the ground, deeper release), and using the lumbar support gives me a stationary deep tissue release and expands my rib cage at the same time. I might add that you can only do this for a few minutes at a time, as it is somewhat painful. But afterwards the stretch feels really good. There should be padding added on the plastic, as it is very hard.

I had read the comments before I purchased the item and had some concerns about how easy it would be to adjust to the various levels. I am happy to say that I have not found it as difficult as some would lead you to believe. I do agree that it is pricey for the materials but you have to consider you are paying for the design, development, and labor to make the product, and not just the plastic from which it is made.

I recently found out I have arthritis in my back. basically caused from the muscles being too tight and causeing my back to hunch. I thought this would be a great product to stretch my back. At first I was a little disappointed that it cost so much money for something very simple. After a few weeks of using the product I do not feel the benefits are worth the cost.
