As you prob already know ... Watch Winders are ultra-pricey ... and most use cheap motors that are destined to wear out in a few years. Repair on these winders runs into the hundreds!
That's where the Boxy Winders come into the equation ... the cubes probably still use the same cheap roto-motos, but they cost much less. If one wears out, replace it without having to dig too deep.
Overall quality is "OK" ... these stacked-up cubes have worked as advertised for a month now. The settings (for differing movements) allows you to adjust the number of rotations per day.
I would rather these cubes be a little heavier with better fit & finish.
However, the fact is I have a 6-watch winder system for the price of a 2-watch winder box.
I would buy these winders again. Good Luck!

This watch winder really works. I tried two different models were the watches were inserted at a 45 degree angle and some of my watches just would not get wound up. No problem with this model. The plastic dome is somewhat small for large watches but all in all a great product.

My goal was to find a quality watch winder that was quiet, simple to operate, and relatively compact without having to fork out some big bucks. This fit the bill and I am really happy with my purchase. I've purchased other watch winders in the past but everyone I've purchase from Brookstone has always been quiet and reliable. This item is no exception. What I like most about it is the compactness of it. It can easily find a spot at the back of your dresser or on the night stand. Currently, I have it winding 4 of 5 automatic watches and the 5 I wear. It doesn't look like other traditional winders but it looks good. Overall I think this is a great value and as my watch collection grows all I have to do is purchase another cube and stack it.

I had a huge 8-watch winder that failed. It would just randomly stop working. That meant that I had to replace the entire unit. Initially, I found a set of these winders elsewhere and got four of them. When I wanted to expand with four more of these winders, I searched and found this set at Brookstone. With the modular bricks of this winder, a future failure would mean that I only have to replace one unit.
The design of these winders lets me expand it as necessary as my watch collection expands. I also like that each unit is selectable as to direction of turn and number of turns per day so that each watch can have a winder that provides exactly what it needs.
I love these winders and will definitely be buying more in the future.

Overall a good winder. The variable settings and rest periods help to keep the watches accurate and functioning properly. Only complaint is 1 of the modules I received did not work. Called Brookstone and they were very helpful, this winder is not in their stores so it must be sent back but they emailed a return label promptly and said they would put a rush on getting the new one sent out. The customer service seems top notch and is still based in the US.
