This wreath is attractive because of the large colorful lights which are brilliant day and night. The timer is 6 hours which I programmed to go on at 4:35 as it gets dark in NJ by then. Six hours later it goes off automatically. I wish I could extend it another hour. It was very easy to set up and takes several D batteries. I had no trouble setting mine up. Just attached a green wire and put it up over a hook. I added a few decorations too for more color. Would like to buy an even larger one but couldn't find one as nice as this one.
