I have now purchased three of these heat beans. The first one my boyfriend saw me using. (after saying no to it in store) and confiscated said bean. The second one we gave to my mother. This is going to be my third. It heats up so very fast and shuts off once temp is reached. You can use with or without "sling". Love how it fits into curves of body or lies almost flat. I can bunch it up, drape it, etc, the saline inside makes it soft against your body too. I do wish they could make a second insert to lie flatter. Very portable! Saves tons of money versus those drug store stick on magnet one time use pads. Helps to reduce pain in muscles and joints.
I also used it on those first chilly mornings here in Connecticut as our vehicle does not have seat warmers. Great for longer road trips to relieve lower back pain or neck pain. Charge last minimum of five hours. We recharge in car with all our other gadgets but you need accessories.

Did anyone test this while in pain? Although the fabric is great, the zippers are WAY too small. It's a challenge to get the heating pad out when it's not warm and even when it is warm, it's a struggle to put it back into the holder while my arm and neck are in extreme pain. After struggling with the holders, and once the heating pad is in each of its carriers, it works well - warm for a long time and a good moist heat. But...if you don't have anyone to assemble it for you...it's more of a pain than you're already experiencing.

This is a great wrap, although the 4-hour warmth is way off. The convenience of unplugging it outweighs that, though. I have major neck and other pain issues and this does the trick. It's a deep, comforting heat, easy to use on neck, shoulder, back, joints, you name it. I do recommend it, just don't expect 4 hours. "Warm" is pretty tepid long before that.

Had serious shoulder problems and this item helped me to fall asleep as it relaxed my muscles. However, really difficult to adjust due to length and weight of product. Not sure how to you would accomplish this task and still have the benefits of the product. Much safer than using a heating pad and the warmth is prolonged and not dependent upon an electric source.
That part is good - however:
Went to local store after Christmas and all stock was gone -(understandably.) Wanted to order at least two of this item as gifts. Clerk went on line, then called another store that had stock (as shown on her computer.) This other store said that actually they were out as well. (What good is the inventory listing if no stock exists?) The clerk I was working with then said "we've been told not to even bother ordering this item, as we have no idea when any will be available." Went home, looked on line and ordered the ones I needed THAT NIGHT! Items were received within a few days.
Obviously there's a communication problem here. Wasted my time actually going to the store and was given incorrect information. Not impressed with that end of the process.
Incidentally, this whole form makes absolutely no sense and is waaaay too long.

I really love the concept, I like not having to use a microwave. It is a little too heavy. I think there could be less liquid in it. I like that it stays warm for a good amount of time. It is difficult to get into the sleeve. It is hard to keep it in the correct spot wham using it around the waist. With some improvements I think it could be a great product,

This heats quickly and holds the heat for a long time. It's comfortable but a little heavy so depending on where you need to apply the heat it may become cumbersome. The plug is hard to access. You first have to remove it from the shoulder strap pouch, then from the bean pouch. Both have small zippers and small openings. You have to work at getting this in and out and is a hassle.

Love this for my 90 year old Mom. Now she can use on bed without a worry of falling asleep with an electric cord wrapped around her. It was a little heavy so she keeps it on the bed or couch and then relaxes on it! Gives off great heat for her back. Very comforting! Bought one for myself after seeing it operate.
