These coin cuff links include 1913 "First-Year-of-Issue" genuine U.S. Buffalo Nickels encircled by Sterling Silver settings that will make your cuffs a perfect conversation starter at your next social event!
The Buffalo Nickel was first released into circulation on March 4, 1913, and is composed of copper and nickel. The design was created to enhance the beauty of American coinage! The designer, James Earle Fraser, wanted to create something completely American. He therefore decided upon the Buffalo, which is a large part of our western states heritage. The Native American Indian Head is featured on the obverse of the coin. The American public deemed it the Buffalo Nickel since its first release in 1913! The Buffalo Head nickel was last minted in 1938. These coin cuff links feature bullet back closures, making them easy to put on. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
